Shapen Divine - Barefoot Ankle Boots Black

Love my Shapen Divine boots!!! I am usually size 41 EU however decided to go up to 42 as there was only 2mm to spare in the 41 (my foot length is 26.4mm and 9.5mm wide). Definitely the right choice (despite the extra width making them a bit loose). I will use a sole insert (bought BHMP inserts - excellent! ) and wear extra thick socks to alleviate this. The front of the boot is quite high for an ankle boot and could rub against the shin (see photo compared to my old boots) - however, being leather i expect this will soften up. Shopping with Barefoot Shoes Australia was fabulous!- very fast delivery and lovely communication from owner.

Very comfortable. Had on all day, first time worn & no discomfort. True to size.

I’ve worn these about 3 times so far. I think they’re great! I tried these after first buying the Shapen Urbaneer boot which is wool lined and too hot for the climate I live in. These are lightweight, unlined & stylish high ankle boots with a zip and adjustable buckle. They have enough space in the toe box for me to wear toe spacers (see photo for reference). They have quite a thin outsole and so I might get an insole for a bit of extra padding.

After bunion surgery, I've struggled to find shoes that fit my wide feet, and I also want to avoid squeezing them into tiny toe boxes! I was stoked to find Barefoot Shoes Australia and these are my second pair of shoes that I love. They are so wide and my toes can properly splay. They have been comfy from day 1 and don't as look crazy and wide as my others (I think you can get away with the wider boots as they are typically a bit chunky). Leather is soft, shiny and seems durable.
